• Legislative Branch:

  • Committee Chairs

  • President Pro Tempore (Senate)

  • Majority Floor Leaders

  • Minority Floor Leaders

  • Parliamentarians

  • Chief Clerk / Assistant Clerk for each Chamber

• Judicial Branch: 

  • Associate Justices

• Executive Branch: ​

  • Cabinet Secretary positions in Governor's Cabinet

  • Attorney position in Attorney General's Cabinet

• Media: ​

  • All media delegates must submit an application to participate in media​

  • Appointed Media Area Leads

  • Limit two delegates per school

• Lobbyist:

  • All lobbyist delegates must submit an application to participate in the lobbyist branch​

February 5:

Legislative Bill Filing Deadline

• All legislative delegates must submit: 

  • Bill Partner Name​

  • Bill Subject Matter Area

  • Bill Declaration Line (i.e. "AN ACT TO...")

• Bill partners and topics may not be changed after this deadline

• All delegates are required to have a bill partner

• No student can submit more than one bill

• This is NOT the full final bill draft, all pairs must bring their bill draft to training for further feedback and development

• Committee Chairs may not co-author with other Committee Chairs

Judicial Team Filing Deadline

• All judicial delegates must submit their judicial partner name or file as an individual competing attorney

• Judicial teams may not be changed after this deadline

 

2027 Executive Officer Candidate Declaration Deadline

• 2027 Youth Governor

• 2027 Youth Lt Governor

• 2027 Youth Speaker of the House

• 2027 Youth Secretary of State

• 2027 Youth Chief Justice
